If you've been around for awhile you know that we don't push a lot of products so when SmartyPants reached out to us, we were skeptical at first. A LOT of supplement companies reach out to us wanting us to advertise their products. Normally we politely decline. Sure, we have supplements that we take like multivitamins, fish oils, etc. but we believe that some products are just not necessary. However, when it comes to a probiotic, it's also one at the top of our list. When I did my research on SmartyPants before agreeing (yes, I always do that!), I was pleasantly surprised. When we received and tasted them, things just got better. Let me explain, I used to LOVE gummy candy, sour gummy candy, anything of the sort. Since I started my health journey, I tend to stay away from those but these SmartyPants gummies taste amazing! Not only do they taste amazing but they contain 7x more CFU than any other probiotic gummy product. We tried the blueberry flavor and let's just say that I had to take out the serving and then put the lid back on right away. I can't wait to try the Lemon Creme! 

I like to take mine with breakfast and have really been loving this Blueberry Avocado Smoothie bowl lately. It's super easy to make and keeps me full for hours!

Eat Clean Recipe: Blueberry Avocado Smoothie Bowl

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1/2-1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of your choice)
  • 1/3 cup egg whites
  • 1 Tbsp chia seeds
  • Stevia (or sweetener of choice), to taste
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (or oats to thicken the smoothie)

Tip: Use less liquid if you want a thicker smoothie bowl.

Directions:

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender, excluding chia seeds (you can add these now but I like to add them at the end)
  2. Blend well and pour into a bowl
  3. Add chia seeds and other optional toppings (such as cashews, granola, hemp, etc)
  4. Stir to combine and enjoy!

Jump ropes always remind me of elementary school. They aren't just for PE class though, use them as a way to get your heart rate up quickly! They are light, travel easily and don't take up too much space. I love the workout they provide but, I'll admit, I'm not too good at it!

If you are in a crowded gym and can't actually use a jump rope you can still go through the motions with an imaginary jump rope. If you are looking for a good rope, you can find some very inexpensive ones at your local store or online. Here is one from Amazon (affiliate link).
