Restaurant-Style Baked Sweet Potato

SidesWhitney Carlson8 Comments

If you are like us, you get really excited when you see that a restaurant offers sweet potatoes. What you may not be excited about is how they prepare them...butter, shortening, brown sugar, etc. I wanted to achieve the same consistency of a restaurant-style baked sweet potato but without all the added, unnecessary ingredients. Try this very simple sweet potato recipe!

Clean Eat Recipe: Restaurant-Style Baked Sweet Potato

Ingredients:

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees

2. Poke holes in sweet potatoes using a fork

3. Spray the outside of each potato with olive oil (using an olive oil mister) & sprinkle with sea salt

3. Bake for 50-60 minutes

4. Enjoy plain or sprinkle with cinnamon

He & She Tip: You can line a baking sheet (with raised edges) or pan with foil but do not wrap the potatoes in foil.
