Did you try our Simple Baked Cinnamon Grapefruit recipe from last week?  Here is another very easy snack recipe we LOVE!  Cucumber + ACV = "Cucumber Zings".

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Slice a cucumber & place into a bowl
  2. Pour Apple Cider Vinegar over the slices until covered
  3. Season with sea salt and pepper

Did you read our post on the 5 Things You Should Know About Grapefruit?  Well, I know there are some of you out there that still won't eat grapefruit even though there are a ton of benefits but give this easy recipe a try!

Clean Eat Recipe: Simple Baked Cinnamon Grapefruit

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  2. Cut grapefruit in half & place on a baking sheet, center up
  3. Sprinkle cinnamon on the tops of both pieces
  4. Bake at 325 degrees for 10-15 minutes

Lemon Garlic Asparagus

Ingredients:

  • 1 bunch of Asparagus (about 1 lb)
  • 1/2 Lemon
  • Olive Oil
  • Sea Salt*
  • Pepper*
  • Garlic*
  • Dehydrated Onion

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 405 degrees Farenheit

2. Lay asparagus on cooking sheet covered with aluminum foil (this makes cleanup easy)

3. Drizzle asparagus with olive oil (about 1-2 Tbsp) and squeeze lemon

4. Shake around until asparagus is completely coated

5. Sprinkle with sea salt, pepper, dehydrated onion, and garlic

6. Bake for about 8 minutes

He & She Tip: Check to make sure asparagus is tender after removing from oven.  If not, bake for another 2-3 minutes or until tender.
