Easy Avocado-Stuffed Turkey Burgers

This recipe will make you feel like you brought the gourmet burger shop to your clean eating kitchen! It's very easy to make and a great way to sneak some healthy fats into your meal. (As if you really needed help! We have each been known to sneak almond butter to the point of obsession!)

Easy Avocado-Stuffed Turkey Burgers

Ingredients:

  • 1 avocado, pitted, cubed and smashed
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1lb ground turkey breast

Directions:

1. In a small bowl, combine avocado, sea salt, black pepper, garlic powder and onion powder. Stir to combine.

2. Separate the mashed avocado mixture into 4 equal portions.

3. Separate ground turkey breast into 4 equal portions.

4. Place avocado in the middle of each turkey breast portion to cover avocado completely by turkey breast and work into burger patties.

5. Grill or pan cook each burger patty until turkey meat is thoroughly cooked.

Grilled Kickin' Chicken

Are you a fan of our Zesty Grilled Chicken but ready for something new? Try this Grilled Kickin' Chicken! This is great for food prep!

Clean Eat Recipe : Grilled Kickin' Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs chicken breasts or thighs (6-8 boneless, skinless chicken breasts)
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp ground red pepper
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 3/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp coriander
  • 1/8 tsp turmeric
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • 3 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar

Directions:

1. Mix all spices together.

2. Add spices to chicken in a tupperware container or a bag. Add honey and ACV.

3. Marinate chicken for 30 minutes - 1 hour.

4. Grill until chicken is cooked through and no longer pink on the inside.

Oven Roasted Turkey Tenderloins

Planning your Sunday Food Prep today? You NEED to make these! Incredibly easy and tasty, our Oven Roasted Turkey Tenderloins will be a nice departure from your typical chicken meal.

Oven Roasted Turkey Tenderloins

Ingredients:

  • 2.75 lb turkey tenderloins
  • 2 TBSP safflower oil
  • 2 TBSP fresh oregano
  • 2 TBSP fresh thyme
  • 1/2 TSP sea salt
  • 1/2 TSP black pepper
  • 1/2 TSP mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, smashed and minced

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

2. Place turkey tenderloins in an oven-safe baking pan with sides. You may want to cover the pan with tinfoil to decrease cleanup. 

3. Score tenderloins across the top with a knife so that seasoning and oil can seep into the meat.

4. Sprinkle 1 TBSP oil over each tenderloin. Rub in spices and garlic into each tenderloin.

5. Bake approximately 1 hour.

6. Allow to cool for 10 minutes prior to slicing.
