As a dancer, former collegiate cheerleader and an aerobics instructor, it takes quite a bit to not only hold my attention but to also give me a good workout! I think I found all that and a little more in the

Fitness DVD workout.

Length

- The main dance portion (the part that you would do over and over again) is about 47 minutes long. I highly recommend the dance lesson the first one or two times that you do the DVD just so you are comfortable with some of the moves that go a little faster - that is about 7 minutes long.

Type of Workout -

This is mainly a cardiovascular or cardio workout. However, it does have toning elements especially for the inner and outer thighs as well as the abs. If done correctly, this could easily be counted as your new favorite ab workout!

What We Like About It:

Overall, I genuinely enjoyed this workout. It's a great change from what my normal strength training and HIIT routines, and provides that extra special something to trick my muscles from getting "comfortable" with my normal routine.

The length is great! At 47 minutes, I actually feel like I accomplished something. It's easy to pop in a DVD that may have a 20 minute routine, but really? Are you actually getting the workout that you and your body craves?

I also loved the fact that anyone can do this workout! Not only does the "Personal Dance Lesson" (7 minutes) help you with some of the faster, more challenging moves, but there is also a member of Julianne's "group" who strictly sticks to modified movements and moves. You can choose to watch and emulate either one of them!

What We Wish We Could Change:

Turn up the volume! The music in this DVD is actually entertaining, but it's hard to hear because it plays ever so lightly in the background. Other than that, especially for the price, it's all good!

Do you like to change up your cardio? Do you think you may give this a try?
