Looking for something to help you cool off during these last few days of summer? Think mocktail meets detox drink meets sweet lemonade in this recipe. Complete with apple cider vinegar to help shed water weight and detox the body, this strawberry lemonade detox water will quickly become a favorite drink when you are craving a sugary soda or even a syrupy sports drink! It's a beautiful looking beverage that satisfies my craving for something other than water! Make sure you check out our other flavored water recipes below.

This is a detox water that you drink along with your clean, healthy meals...it is not designed to be a full-fledged cleanse, rather it should be used to reduce bloating and water weight. Strawberry Lemonade Detox Water

Ingredients:

  • 1 c filtered water
  • 1/2 c lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 3 TBSP apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp honey
  • 1/2 c strawberries, chopped
  • 1/4 c ice

Directions:

  1. Combine water, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar and honey in a mason jar or glass container with removable lid. Stir with a wire whisk to ensure contents are well mixed. 
  2. Add strawberries and ice. Place lid on container, ensuring container is well closed.
  3. Place in refrigerator for approximately 2 hours to provide strawberries time to infuse into lemonade. 
  4. Add additional ice if you would like, drink and enjoy!

Refreshing Green Juice

Call me crazy but I'm to the point where I CRAVE this juice every day. Don't let the color throw you off or the fact that it has no fruit - it is still very refreshing! Try it out!

Refreshing Green Juice

Ingredients:

Directions (using a Vitamix)

1. Place all ingredients in a Vitamix (in order listed above).

2. Turn Vitamix on variable power, speed 1 and gradually increase until all ingredients are blended. Add more spinach and/or kale if possible. Turn on variable power again. Then, turn Vitamix on high power and let juice for 30-60 seconds until mixture is in juice consistency.

Makes 2 servings. I usually split this up over 2 days.

30-Day Wall Sit Challenge

Did you complete our Plank and Squat Challenges yet?  If so, it's time for a new one!  This wall sit challenge will have your legs and booty on fire!  This challenge gradually builds you up to holding a wall sit for 5 minutes!  If this is too easy at first double the time listed or do it more than one time!

Make sure you have the correct form!  Form a right angle with your hips and knees.  Your heels should be flat on the ground and your back flat against the wall.
